my name is Michel Gerard the CMO of a spirit as a digital experience platform and CMS global software company we conducted a survey of 200 plus companies to help our customers identify what it takes to be a digital experience leader I'll spend the next three minutes giving you the highlights of this study to complete our DX assessment tools to benchmark your own company and get the full results of this research go to tinyurl.com forward slash 2018 DX survey or check out the East bird comm blog of the 200 plus companies in this study 60% have over 1,000 employees about half are from the US and about half are from amia and let me get in a couple of the highlights here DX ecosystem investments are starting to pay off and looking at our DX leaders across the study there are six key success factors that stand out be content-driven get personal go omni-channel be agile get integrated and use what you pay for on to the highlights of this study 20% of companies are getting a higher return on their DX ecosystem technology investments we call these folks that DX leaders let's see what we can learn from these DX leaders key success factor number one be content driven content creation and distribution will only increase as investments in content marketing continue and DX leaders get this looking at our chart here thirty five percent of companies find it easy to orchestrate and distribute content globally with DX leaders at the head of the pack in green and of those companies that find it easy half of them indicate that it's because their digital experience platform enables it key success factor number to get personal experience is the new competitive advantage and nothing will help you stand out more in the digital world than providing a personalized digital experience for your buyers only 26 percent of companies can deliver these personalized experiences in real time and of those companies more than one-third are DX leaders in green and to dive a bit deeper into the power of personalization twenty three percent of companies delivering DX experiences in real time are using all available data sources internal external and behavioral data sources cutting across the different silos out there let's get down to key success factor number five get integrated and a key part of the success is avoiding vendor lock-in there are a lot of options out there to build a DX technology stack and when given the option 60% of companies choose to buy a DX platform that integrates with select Best of Breed systems versus locking in with an all-in-one model if that vendor or building their own step from the thousands of point solutions out there our next success factor use what you pay for only 7% of companies are using the full capabilities of their DX ecosystem 67% of DX leaders have high usage so this data and insight is just a taste of the results from East Barrett's research study to complete our DX assessment tool to benchmark your own company as well as access the full results of this study go to tinyurl.com Forge slash 2018 DX survey as it is listed on the slide or check out the e spirit comm plug and don't hesitate to reach out to me if you're interested in learning more about how a spirits DX platform or e spirits CMS software can help you deliver more personalized digital experiences to your audience this is Michael girag with Eastern thank you for listening
